  • A Peaceful Passing

Today my cat Mordecai, who I’ve had almost my entire life, passed away.  I will miss him dearly.  He was about 95 or 100 in cat years, and he lived all nine of his lives to the absolute fullest.  He was the lion king of our backyard jungle.

    Sleep well,
    =Matt=

  • Matthew, we just had to put down our girl Miss Fergee who was 11 years old. Its like loosing a family member and very sad. Your wonderful friend lived longer than most other cats, thats a blessing right there. The good news is there will be animals in heaven, maybe even our loved ones!!! Praise God!!

  • Oh how sad, I’m so sorry to hear that, I am a cat lover to the fullest, he will be missed I am sure!

  • I lost one of my cats too, and it hurts so much. At least you got to enjoy him for long, and make many memories.

    may he rest in peace.

  • Aww, I’m sorry to hear that   My cat of 11 years passed away a few years ago and it absolutely broke my heart, so I can empathize.  RIP Moredcai

P.S. Obviously it’s rather soon to look into getting another cat, but for future reference, if you weren’t aware, there are certain breeds of cats that even people with allergies can be around.

  • @TwoPts4Honesty - Thanks for the kind words!  Yes, we’ve looked into the cats that are hypo-allergenic, but they’re usually quite expensive…??

    Take care,
