Little Corona Del Mar Beach Sunset, with [b] friends...
Met up with some [b]-school friends, Brian Khang and Michael Campbell, a couple days ago at Little Corona beach. A totally impromptu meet-up of professional wedding & portrait photographers who also enjoy landscape photography, and *gasp* ...own tripods! What do you do when you own a tripod? You use it to do things non-tripod owners CAN'T do!
(Note to self: be a little more careful next time when ABANDONING your camera on a tripod in the tidepools when a big wave comes...)

Those are really breathtaking. I especially enjoy the last two!
Thats how Alan lost his 5D1,lol
@hxpham - Dang you're right! I'd better be more careful. I'll definitely refrain from doing this kinda stunt if it's right before a wedding, that's for sure!
@JoyousMemoriesPhoto - Thanks for such a kind word!!!
=Matt=
Tripod, i will have to google that... Next you know you will say you used mirror lock!!!
I love your tidepool shots...
Beautiful work as always.
Someday you'll have to teach me how to work a tripod...
Those are absolutely gorgeous!
The last is my fav. Simply beautiful!!!
These are just um... wow. They are amazing. GREAT job.
Dude.
The third one.
Epicness.
@Av8tqr - Thanks for the admiration, but I still feel SO rusty, and I know I could do tons better, compositionally. I could also really use a 12-24 DX lens, grrr...
=Matt=
is the earth?
I just love the first one, it has all the elements, color , texture, and fire (action)...
@soundz - Is the earth what?
=Matt=
@MatthewSaville - haha i meant to say is "this" earth?
@soundz - Oh lol. Yes, these were taken "from earth"...
=Matt=
You are a constant inspiration to me!
Just don't follow in Skunk's footsteps when it comes to Nikons and water!
